Just random

by Priit Tohver   »

Ever seen one of those movies about promising writers, junkies or alcoholics where the character just sits in front of his or her typing machine and writes a small novel without even blinking? Well that?s exactly what I?m not doing at the moment.

I hate it when I?m blogging under the influence and I leave my work unfinished due to one of those hey-there?s-a-dog-with-a-fluffy-tail moments. Granted, I could finish up later but in most cases by the time I?ve decided to recommence my penmanship somebody?s switched the site to homo.com or something equally fascinating. Well yes, I get the 10 minutes of entertainment in return for my writing(can be 30, depending on the situation and time of day) but it?s still a pain in the arse.

I love collaboration, but only if it actually leads somewhere. I?m sure that if people work together for a mutually prosperous cause even the most tentative of plans can be turned tenacious. I hope our little scheme comes together, I really do. Cause if it doesn?t I?ll deprive the ones responsible of their balls(or balletes) for my deprived school experience.

In response to Karolin?s entry about Murphy?s laws I just can?t help but object to their nonexistence. Not that I really care enough to start a debate, I simply want to submit a law of my own: the one person least expected to vomit always discharges into the one bed that?s not allowed to be slept in.
